This property was a shell without plumbing, heating or bathrooms
before Patterson & Perkiss transformed it into an attractive
residential building. This light-filled duplex now offers breathtaking
views of Center City. The modern design is warmed by the use of
maple and anegre for ceiling and wall panels, cabinetry and room
dividers. Heating, cooling and electricity lines are concealed below
floors or inside windowless areas. A skylight shines down upon a
three-flight stair tower made of maple and green Vermont slate.
